MONEL K-500 Alloy Coil is manufactured from UNS N05500, a precipitation-hardenable nickel-copper alloy that combines the excellent corrosion resistance of MONEL 400 with significantly higher mechanical strength and hardness.
Strengthened by controlled additions of aluminum and titanium, MONEL K-500 can be solution annealed and age hardened to achieve outstanding strength while maintaining excellent resistance to seawater, marine atmospheres, alkaline solutions, and sour gas environments.
Supplied in coil form, MONEL K-500 is widely used in marine engineering, oil & gas, chemical processing, and aerospace applications where both high strength and corrosion resistance are required.
