MONEL K-500 (UNS N05500) is a precipitation-hardened nickel-copper alloy that combines the outstanding corrosion resistance of MONEL 400 with significantly higher strength and hardness. Strengthening is achieved through the addition of aluminum and titanium, which form age-hardening precipitates. The alloy offers excellent performance in marine, chemical, and oil & gas environments, while maintaining high resistance to stress-corrosion cracking, pitting, and erosion. MONEL K-500 pipes and tubes are ideal for high-strength, corrosion-critical applications.
