HASTELLOY X (GH3536) is a nickel-chromium-iron-molybdenum solid-solution strengthened alloy designed for excellent high-temperature strength and oxidation resistance.
It performs exceptionally well in environments up to 1200°C (2200°F) and maintains good formability, weldability, and fabricability.
This alloy exhibits outstanding resistance to oxidation, carburization, and creep deformation in both oxidizing and reducing atmospheres, making it a preferred material for gas turbines, furnace components, petrochemical heaters, and aircraft engines.
